How do I become a new patient?

Becoming a new patient is easy. Simply give us a call to make an appointment. Dr. Barsness is accepting new patients at this time.

What insurance companies are Falls Family Eye Care providers for?

Health Partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, VSP, Medica, Medicare, Wea, NVA, Eye Med. Please call for a full list of insurance. We do not accept Forward Health at this time.

How do I schedule a Visual Efficiency Exam for myself or my child?

The first step is to schedule an appointment with Dr. Barsness. She will provide a comprehensive eye exam and discuss the results with you. If she feels you or your child would benefit from Vision Therapy, she will work with you to schedule an appointment for the exam. How do I make an appointment?

Give us a call and we will be happy to schedule an appointment for you.

How far in advance do I need to call for an appointment? Do you have same day appointments?

We do have same day appointments when the doctors are available. Appointments fill up fast. It is best to call a week or two ahead of your desired time.

Same day appointments are available on most days. Please call as soon as possible in the day and we will do our best to get you in. There are some days were we simply do not have a same day appointment but would be happy to schedule an appointment for the next available time.

The one exception to the same day appointments would be a medical emergency…If you have a medical emergency, we will be happy to work with you to get you in that day provided a Doctor is available and in office.

Do you provide medical emergency appointments?

Yes, we do. We try to be as accommodating as possible when you are dealing with an eye concern. Please give us a call and we will try to work in same day if Doctor is available.
